Charles and Nicole Tashjian founded Our Town Publishing in 1999. Our Town Publishing is a full-service printing company offering direct mailers, large format and can service all printing needs. If you can imagine it, we can print it! 

Local Town Pages was created in 2010 and is the Publisher of 14 monthly Community Newspapers covering 24 towns in the Metrowest/Metrosouth areas in 2020 we added The Yankee and Blackstone Valley Press and in 2022 We added the Bellingham Bulletin all our papers are directly mailed into 171K+ homes and businesses. We are the largest independently owned newspaper companies in MA.

Our History

In 1999, as digital expanded its presence in the photo developing side of our very successful photo lab, we saw the need arise to change our identity and brand while always keeping focus on printing and publishing. We owned several phone directories as well as as expanded our graphics area to help local businesses with their marketing needs for events, fundraisers and more. We saw the opportunity for a Community based newspaper in the area, as larger newspaper companies could not offer that true community feel and cover the stories that mean the most to the residents. For the past 10 years, we have been proud of our ever-increasing presence in the market and have grown to 8 newspapers, covering 10 towns as well as increasing our business into the Central area of Massachusetts. We look forward to growing and expanding even more over the next few years and have recently launched our digital sites to match each of our 8 papers.
