Norfolk Town Clerk Carol Greene reminds residents that they should have received the town census in mid-January. Make any changes, sign and return it or risk being added to the Inactive Voter list. This year is also a Federal census year, but the Federal Government does not share census data so you must fill out the town census, also.
Since this is an election year, Greene advises residents to check their voter registration status online at the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s office, or contact her office. Voter registration must be updated each time you move.
Dog licenses must be renewed at the beginning of each year. Dog licenses can be renewed in person at the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours, through the mail, or online on the Town Clerk’s website. Late fees start May 1. Visit the Town Clerk’s page at www.norfolk.ma.us for more information.
Contact Town Clerk Carol Greene at 508-528-1400 or email [email protected] with any questions.
Wrentham Town Clerk Cynthia Thompson is also reminding residents that dog licensing started January 1 and ends February 29. Late fees of $50 per dog begin March 1 and increase to $100 per dog starting May 1. Dogs must have updated rabies information, and all dogs 6 months or older moving to Wrentham must be licensed within 60 days. Register in person at the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours, online at the Town Clerk’s website (www.wrentham.ma.us), or by mail.
